What to Make of Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will round things out when it arrives.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

The execution is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
